Is there anything more romantic than a winter wedding? Maybe a Christmas wedding! Choosing for the period between Christmas and New Year, Maria and Brad captured the joy of the festive period and were rewarded with a day full of love, and very luckily, great weather!

Opting for beautiful neural shades for their décor; greens, creams and golds with just a hint of blush pink, Jo at Vintage Winter Weddings created stunning table centres and décor, which was added to with our stunning fire being lit during the ceremony.

Their guests having a great time was so important to Maria and Brad, opting to use Exceed Events to host the day, playing games during the wedding breakfast kept everyone laughing.

Brad’s best man Zach has officially won my “Best Best-Man Speech” award, and not just for 2025. Managing to hide his guitar from the crowd and in a nod to their time together in a band in their younger days, Zach sang part of his speech to the delight of the guests who were all very happy to sing along, and that tune may still be stuck in my head, thanks Zach!

Rather than a traditional cake, Brad & Maria opted for a stunning savoury cake mixing layers of pork pie, chicken pie & game pie with Stilton, Brie and Cornish Yarg which was enjoyed alongside their evening buffet. Their party ended with a fantastic live set from band On The One and dancing til late and plenty of prop filled photo’s in the photo booth.
