Food & Drink
Dining at the inn is available in three areas, with the full menu available in each. The kitchen is open every day from 12 noon until around 9pm.
Our Garden Room is open daily for breakfast to both guests and non-residents alike from 7.30am to 9.30am during the week, and 8am to 10am at the weekend. Out of hours, a selection of snacks, sandwiches, teas, coffees and pastries are always available. With the bar open all day, from 11am (12 noon on Sundays) until late, you are sure of a warm welcome whenever you choose to visit.
With the inn's increasing popularity, tables can be booked in advance but even at busy times, we should be able to find you a table, if you don't mind a short wait with a drink in hand at the bar.
The main bar and entrance to the inn with welcoming fire and stone-flagged floor is always open and is a perfect place to sit back and relax, watching the comings and goings, simply with a drink in hand or a plate of something delicious and a glass of wine.
The lounge with its panelled wall, oak floor, real fires and softer, more comfortable furnishings, is an ideal spot for a quiet chat or for a more intimate occasion. This room is also available for private functions or parties, and is often used for wedding ceremonies, as the inn is licensed to conduct civil-marriage ceremonies. It is also an ideal location for evening receptions.
The Garden Room is our latest addition and with its oak-beamed ceiling and vast glazing, this dining room has splendid views of Boulsworth and the magnificent vista the inn benefits from in its rural hilltop location. The air-conditioned Garden Room is splendid for your wedding breakfast or for a private function of up to eighty diners or a buffet of one-hundred-and-twenty, but is often available for casual dining at lunchtime, evenings and weekends.
